Supervising Support Coordinators: Strategies To Enhance Quality While Meeting Requirements

Support Coordination Supervisors perform a broad set of responsibilities that span the realms of agency management and quality assurance.  This training focuses on the administrative, educational, and supportive functions Supervisors they conduct with the Support Coordinators they hire and employ.  Participants will learn strategies for meeting requirements while enhancing the effectiveness of Support Coordination services through hiring and orientation practices, training and professional development, ongoing supervision and feedback, and evaluation and appraisal.
 
Note: This training currently is ONLY open to Employees of New Jersey DDD, DDD/Medicaid Approved Support Coordination agencies, and Support Coordination agencies authorized by DDD to move forward with the training required in qualifications.
To meet the training needs of the entire state, there is a limit of participants per agency for this training.
 
Prerequisite: Support Coordination Orientation
 
Certificates: Certificates of Attendance with training title and duration will be provided.
 
Continuing Education Credit: NJ Social Work
