The NADD DSP Credential Part 1: Building A Competent Workforce To Support Individuals With Behavior And Mental Health Needs

Credentialing requirements to provide Behavioral Supports under the NJ Supports Program and The Community Care Program include Direct Support Professional (DSP) holding NADD-DSP. This Competency-Based Direct Support Professional Certification Program certifies staff who work closely with individuals with IDD and mental health needs.
 
This webinar will highlight the benefits of certification to address workforce challenges to build capacity to support people with mental health needs and behavior challenges in the community, including individuals with high clinical support needs (acuity factor) and those receiving a Behavioral Support service.
