Creating Inclusive And Accessible Healthcare SettingsThis workshop provides practical strategies for creating accessible, inclusive, and sensory-friendly healthcare environments for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Participants will explore common systemic and accessibility challenges in clinical settings and learn how to address them effectively. The session also introduces key communication approaches to better understand and respond to health needs, while strengthening collaboration with health professionals to deliver coordinated, person-centered care across settings.
Note: For engagement and active participation in the training, you must use a device with working camera. It is strongly recommended that you use a computer or a laptop with a strong WiFi connection. Phones and mobile devices are discouraged due to connectivity issues
