Coaching Session: Effective Approaches To Home Visits

Support Coordinators meet with people in a variety of places including individuals’ homes.  In this interactive virtual coaching session, participants will discuss effective practices for home visits.  The benefits of home visits and support coordinators can use them as an opportunity to learn more about the person and enhance futures planning will be shared. Discussion will also take place about policies and practices to assure home visits take place in the most effective and safe way possible for all parties involved.

 

Note: This training currently is ONLY open to Employees of DDD, DDD/Medicaid Approved Support Coordination agencies, and Support Coordination agencies authorized by DDD to move forward with the training required in qualifications.

 

Certificates: Certificates of Attendance with training title and duration will be provided.
