A Person-Centered Approach To Medication In IDDPeople with IDD may experience multiple health conditions and take several medications. Medications may be prescribed or changed repeatedly when diagnostic information is incomplete, while communication challenges can make it difficult to report their effectiveness. This webinar will explore considerations for medication use and highlight the role of the team in advocating for a person during prescribing, treatment planning, treatment, and recovery. We will also introduce a symptom-tracking tool to support person-centered, data-driven recommendations and improve outcome.
