Holding The Compass 5: SSI, Medicaid, And Work: Setting Your Child Up For Employment Success

Yes, your child can work and still receive SSI benefits and Medicaid!  Unfortunately, many families think otherwise, thanks to some common myths that can create unnecessary obstacles to your child’s employment goals. This session will explain how these benefits work, where to go for help and support with benefits and career planning, and how employment and long-term career success can, and should, be a part of any graduate’s transition plan who wishes to pursue employment.
